Camping Pod Heaven is situated high above the western shores of Loch Ness, located in the village of Abriachan, just 12 miles from Inverness, Scotland. Camping Pod Heaven offers camping accommodation with a unique twist. Forget the tent and the mattresses, just bring everything else you need for camping. In return, we offer you peace, tranquillity and the fabulous outdoors. The campsite site has direct access to the Great Glen Way (long distant walking/cycling path) and offers an excellent base for start/finish of the renowned NC500 (long distant driving route).
Camping Pod Heaven offers an excellent central base for exploring the beautiful west coast and the magnificent east coast

- Jacobite cruises and tours of Loch Ness are offered from 2 departure points within easy reach of Camping Pod Heaven.
- Food, retail and various visitor centre’s are all within a short drive away.
- Eden Court Theatre and Inverness Castle are both just 25 minutes' drive away.
- The famed Culloden Battlefield is 18 miles away.

Some site information
At Camping Pod Heaven we pride ourselves in being environmentally aware. Throughout the campsite, you will see that we keep very close to nature. There are 10 handcrafted fully insulated camping pods. Each pod sleeps 4 persons, equipped with a heater, light and 6 amps of electric for charging mobile phones, etc. Guests have access to new bathroom facilities and accessible rooms.
From the office, we can offer advice and information on what to see and do on your holiday. Bed packs can be hired on request. Campers are more than welcome to use the microwave, kettle and fridge freezer during office opening hours. Hot beverages and a selection of survival food are on sale.
There is an all-weather communal picnic table, covered smoking area, WiFi, access to a fridge/freezer, microwave and kitchen sinks.
We operate a new Fire Risk Policy and have taken away our open fire pit on site. However, guests can enjoy small or disposable BBQ’s on site out with times of High Fire Risk. There are times when Scottish Fire and Rescue Service will issue a formal statement stating that no open fires of any type are to be lit during very dry spells. You must always adhere to our Fire Risk Policy otherwise you will be asked to leave without refund.
Parking is included as part of your stay. You will be allocated a designated parking bay on arrival. Parking is not permitted by some of the pods however your car is not far away.
